Dear BPSC2024 Attendees
Note added 23/06/24: With a total of 189 total attendees/participants, and a turnout of 94% (177), the space instrumentation and main conference had fantastic engagement with the planetary community, and with all presentations at a very high standard. Prizes will be announced very soon.
Talks (other than keynotes) within the science sessions will be 12 minutes + 3 minutes for Q&A. Talks can be uploaded prior to the session or sent by the day before your talk using wetransfer.com to bpsc2024@space-park.co.uk
The first day 18th June will be the workshop on developing new space exploration instruments. The main conference sessions will be held 19th-21st June (draft programme below). Keynotes include Meg Schwamb – Vera Rubin Observatory, Ashley King – Bennu analyses, Richard Ghail new Venus science, Emma Bunce – BepiColombo and a new view of Mercury, Steve Banham – Ancient Mars, results from rovers.
We will also hold an ice breaker event for the main conference on the 18th, an ECR evening social event/meal on the 19th, and a conference dinner at National Space Centre on the 20th
